Philanthropy & Service
The men of Tau Kappa Epsilon participate annually in the Iowa City Polar Plunge raising $7,000 for Special Olympics Iowa. TKE also holds philanthropic events for for St. Jude Children's Hospital as its founder, Danny Thomas is a TKE brother. Over the course of the 2013-2014 school year the Tekes adopted a highway and recorded 930 hours of community service.
Chapter Structure
Less than a mile from the campus, the chapter house is equipped with central air conditioning, fire & security systems, a full kitchen, laundry room, leather furniture, pool table, fire pit, basketball court, one of the most scenic views on campus from our deck as well as many other amenities. At the bottom of our hill there are two cambus stops.
